Hello,
SiteSupra is capable working on PHP 5 (starting from 5.1.6 no recoding of php files is required) and MySQL 5.x. The only problem for MySQL 5.x could be custom sort pages in reverse. For MySQL default encoding for text fields (varchar, char, text, tinytext etc) should be set to encoding listed in $suLANG. Usually this is 1250 for english, 1251 for russian etc. But I recommend using utf8 for fields and encoding=>1200 (or you may use 'utf' if you are not using chineese, japan and other "EASTERN" lagnuages).
Make sure you check our forum for articles on running SiteSupra on MySQL 4.1/5.0, because setting MySQL connection charset is required. (you may try to search for SET NAMES UTF8 in forum).

Thanks for your answer. But as it looks like the SiteSupra project is dead, we'll move on to more steady developed products, ready for their steps to PHP6 and further. You did a great job with SiteSupra, why hibernating it now? There hasn't been any activity from 2005 off.
